Sketch using sound taken from a home recording of the strums and a tiny bit of vocals in a song "Save Me" on a very roughly tuned guitar (which from my purposes here is a huge asset as it makes the sound infinitely fascinating!) . The audio has been pulled apart into elements that sound electronic in places. The piece is experimental and mostly "free" in the sense that it's quite organic, and isn't held together by melody or a pulse, however I think there is a difference between this and the new music that I was exposed to a lot in my 20s that I felt was challenging for all the wrong reasons. These sounds are chosen to draw you in, because they are interesting, beautiful in places, or just odd. I have no interest in creating music that is jarring, cold, or soulless .
