These new tracks take the start point of sonic sketches and extend slightly. Here are new instruments - Euphonium, or combinations of two instrumentals such as guitar and cello. I continue a fascination for the Cello.. in particular with a view to ultimately producing some tracks that have a performable component or end in mind. With a view to this I also always keep in mind how the performer will relate to the music. In addition the music has become open to being more rather than less "electronic"in places. I continue to shift audio around, sometimes in a way that resembles the visual artist dealing with shapes that can be moved, replicated, shifted and elongated in the search for patterns, colours, and textures that are pleasing- but which come out of the material rather than which are imposed on it.
