Trumpet Cadenza leads into this tune..via a short reprise of Jerry's gig.. "Jump out of the Sun" is a variant of a well known folk song "Jump at the Sun" which I slightly modified in order to play on the trumpet in this key (the original required lower notes than those available). It's played first at a steady pace, followed by a crazy dash ...
This is a piece I learnt from Natalya Ribeaux, who I met via doing festivals with the Majical Youth Theatre Project - creating crawy processions and lively and spontaneous one day theatrical experiences for all ages.. SEveral years ago we were part of a large scale performance-art project which involved playing in the streets o London.
